Edel FC Declares Emmanuel Chibunna Ibeakamma AWOL

The management of Edel FC after careful and patient wait wishes to inform the relevant football authorities and fans that Mr Emmanuel Ibeakamma has been Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL) from the team since April of 2025.

Despite several efforts by the club Management and Technical crew to reach out to him through various channels, there has been no communication or response by Emmanuel on when he will return. He has failed to report to training and has remained completely absent from the club’s camp without any formal notification or justification.

This conduct is a clear violation of the club’s professional code of conduct and disciplinary framework. Edel Football Club is treating this matter with utmost seriousness because the said Emmanuel Ibeakamma is contracted to us till February of 2028. The Nigeria Football Federation players Arbitration Committee and the Nigerian National League have all been notified. Anyone doing business or transaction with the said player is doing so on his own loss.
