Fancy Ewulu Calls For Calm As Edel FC Aims To Finish The Season On A High
The Team Manager of Edel FC has charged his players to aim for the sky in the remaining 4 matches of the season. He made this known when he had a chat with the club’s media outlet edelfc news after a training session at the Awka City stadium.
The former Flying Eagles goalkeeper commended the efforts of the players and coaching crew so far this season.

“I want to first appreciate the works of the coaching crew led by Willie Udube. They have done remarkably well in changing our fortune from relegation contenders to promotion hopefuls in the space of 3 months. That in itself is remarkable. The players will get special praise. They have shown professionalism when it mattered the most. Their hard work and dedication has helped propelled us to where we are now.”
“I also want to thank the club President Mr. Jude Edeh for his wholesome dedication in seeing that this club maintained its professional approach, standard and values since he bought the club. Similarly, I appreciate the club Director, Dr. Vincent Okparaka as well for his fatherly advice and motivation to the team. I believe that it was these factors and God’s help that got us to where we are now”
The high ranking official of the team this season charged his boys to finish strongly as he made them know that no games will be easy in this final run-in.

“Now the focus should be on the final four games of the season. We will approach each match as a cup final hoping to get maximum points from anywhere and everywhere. The Playoffs spot is not in our hands anymore because of a slight dip in form, but we are still optimistic of striking the biggest jackpot of this season if results here and elsewhere go our way. I believe that we can, so I call on the players to put on their armor and fight like warriors they are. God willing we will have a season to remember.”
Edel FC has four more matches to end the season starting with an away game this Saturday against Comets at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
